Is Investing In SEO A Sucker's Bet?
Is investing in SEO a sucker's bet? Sorta. Let me explain.
If you've done a search on Google in the last 60 days, you know it's changed. Try searching for your products. For example, "Wood Shutters." On my page, the top 4 results are sponsored ads. Below that is a carousel of wood shutter ads from major retailers, followed by 3 organic sites, all from major retailers. Then, there's a “People Also Ask” section with 4 questions, 2 more rows of carousel ads, images, and so on. Out of the first 20 spots on Google, only 3 are organic sites.
Now, let's try "Window Treatments Near Me." There's a new feature to refine your search by pricing, indoor or outdoor category types, etc. I see 4 paid ads, followed by a map with one more paid ad at the top and 3 local vendors nearest to me. Then, there's an organic listing for Yelp and Home Depot, followed by a “People Also Ask” section with 4 questions, 3 organic listings, 2 rows of photo ads in a carousel, 4 more organic listings, and more photos.
In many searches posed as questions, Google Gemini AI tries to answer your query directly and then posts answers from Reddit and Quora, pushing organic results further down the page.
What's a retailer to do?
The Number One Goal In All Advertising is Phone Calls... Period.
Based on my 14 years of experience, the perfect formula is a great website with continuous SEO, optimizing your Google Business Profile (Maps), and increasing your spend on Google Ads.
A few weeks ago, a leaked and verified Google document confirmed that ExSeed Marketing has been 100% right in all our SEO formulas for the last 14 years.
So, how much SEO do you need? Every website needs consistent postings, great local links, good information to help consumers make decisions, and a verified location.
At ExSeed Marketing, we build sites designed to generate leads and phone calls. This is our focus: Getting your phone to ring... Period.
And you’d better answer the call, or according to Google, 82% of them will hang up and call the next guy on the page. Pro Tip: Either carry 2 phones or use a Dual Sim Card phone. I have this, and it’s amazingly handy. Most new smartphones can do this.
At ExSeed Marketing, we also have a system where you’ll have an app on your phone. Take photos of before and after, fill in a few details for us, press submit, and our team will turn it into a blog post. This will turbocharge your SEO efforts. Then, we’ll show you how to use this to supercharge your Google Map listing.
In the past few years, consumers have changed their behaviors. They no longer take the time to fill out a form; they call you. Should you have a form on your site? Yes, it can't hurt and might help.
There is no reason to spend $1500 a month or even $750 a month on your SEO. We charge $249 a month, including a new $3000 website custom-built for your business. Take the extra money and spend it on a guaranteed placement at the top of the page using Google Ads.
We can handle your Google Ads for $225 a month, plus your spend. The spend is what you pay Google for the clicks. It's the single best marketing money you will ever spend.
